Why does OmaVero show VAT payable?
Updated
The images in this article are examples. The amount payable depends on the amount of your invoicing (the VAT portion), so the amount shown in your OmaVero may be larger or smaller than in the example images.
We file the VAT return on your behalf according to your tax period. Based on the return, an amount payable - tax due - appears on your OmaVero front page under My tax types view. We pay the amount on your behalf a few business days before the due date, so that it's correctly allocated to that payment. However, the amount due typically only disappears on the business day after the due date.

Here's how you can confirm that Truster pays the VAT on your behalf

On the OmaVero front page, scroll down to VAT and click Show VAT details. You'll find a list of returns, with the newest one at the top. Click Open the return.

Once you've opened the return, scroll all the way down to Contact details of the person providing additional information. When the details show Truster Works Oy, you can be confident that Truster is paying the VAT amount due shown on the front page on your behalf.

You don't need to contact our customer support about the payment. If the contact details of the additional information provider showed another person's or company's details instead, please contact our customer support through the Support requests section of the app.
Please note that if the tax type payable is something other than VAT or supplementary advance tax, you will generally need to pay that amount yourself.
