Truster light entrepreneur Olga Trifonova has managed to achieve all of this and much more, despite her young age. It all began with her aunt's enthusiasm for trying new sports, like pole dancing. Although Olga wasn't athletic as a child and preferred spending time at home, pole dancing swept her off her feet.

#From passion to profession

When you're talented enough at something that you can earn a living and travel the world with it. A hobby started in childhood has opened up huge opportunities for Truster light entrepreneur Olga. Olga started pole dancing at age 8, inspired by her aunt, and now has a full twelve years of experience behind her.

Her first taste of coaching came at age 12, when Olga started teaching various skills to her friends. At first, the hardest part was learning to describe the skills, not just show how to do them. Competing in international competitions gave Olga many contacts and opportunities for the future. Olga's impressive competition success led pole dance communities to invite her to run various workshops. Olga jumped at the chance without hesitation. During the workshops, Olga realized this was something she truly loved doing: coaching and meeting new people from around the world.

Olga has traveled around the world sharing her knowledge. Workshops last anywhere from a weekend to a month, depending on the destination. For example, before the pandemic, Olga had a two-month workshop lined up in Switzerland, but the pandemic stretched the trip into six months. During the pandemic, online coaching entered the picture, and its popularity keeps growing.

In 2021, Olga was invited to Finland to coach for a longer period, and she's still on that path today. Settling down has been a nice change of pace for Olga, since as a coach she now has time to see her students' progress and growth.

#There's an invoicing service around every corner

There are several invoicing companies to choose from. Services vary in pricing and offering. Invoicing services generally don't tie a light entrepreneur to anything, so it's easy to try out different providers and find the one that fits best. Light entrepreneurship was already familiar territory for Olga, but finding the right invoicing service for her was still a search in progress.

Truster's offices are located right in prime spots, next to the Kamppi shopping center. The right place at the right time sealed the deal for Olga, as she walked past Truster's office with a friend, who happened to recommend the service to her. #Finding balance through BMX biking

Even though pole dancing takes up a lot of her time, there's room for other sports too. Olga's latest venture is BMX biking. It requires quick reactions and balance. Besides BMX, Olga also spends a lot of time dancing. In fact, pretty much anything related to movement or sport inspires Olga. Spending time outdoors and with friends is also important to her.

Social media has been an important tool for Olga in recent years. It has enabled her to market her coaching and share her own skill videos. When she moved to Finland, Olga decided to invest more in social media. Her account content mainly consists of skill videos, through which Olga wants to inspire others.

Social media also puts pressure on her to look like a professional. That pressure comes from pole dancing itself and from others' expectations. Because of this, learning a new skill and filming it takes time, since Olga only wants to share it once she's mastered it really well.

Social media is also a place where Olga feels a sense of community among pole dancers, and that's heartwarming. It has also allowed her to stay in touch with friends who live all around the world.

#Don't worry about what others think, just do what you love

We asked Olga about her plans for the future, and she laughed, saying she's bad at planning ahead.

Olga plans to keep dancing and coaching for as long as her body allows. Of course, she's faced plenty of doubters when it comes to her career. Some think Olga shouldn't bet her future on pole dancing — what if she gets injured and can't dance anymore? The doubters think she'd be better off as an economist or something similar. Luckily, Olga hasn't let what others think get to her, and she's happy doing what she truly loves.
