Do I need to add VAT to the invoice?
Updated
Yes. As a light entrepreneur you invoice under Truster's Business ID, so VAT is by default always added to invoices.
The general VAT rate is 25.5%. Some industries use a reduced rate (e.g. 13.5% or 10%) or zero-rating (for example certain health and education services). Choose the VAT rate that matches the work when creating the invoice. The exemption threshold (turnover under €20,000/year) applies only to companies using their own Business ID.
Truster pays the value-added tax to the Tax Administration. It is not deducted from your salary, nor is it paid to you.
