Income reports for Migri and other authorities

If the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) or another authority asks you for a report on your income, remember that a bank statement alone isn't enough as proof of an entrepreneur's income. You need to present several documents related to your entrepreneurship.

Download these 5 documents from the app:

In the Truster app, open the Menu, select Company details, and click Downloadable reports. From there, download the following documents for the requested time period:

  • Income statement (Most important!): This shows your income and expenses for a specific period.
  • Sales report: A detailed list of your sales.
  • Expense report: A detailed list of your expenses.
  • Withdrawal report: Details of the money you've withdrawn.
  • Proof of using Truster.

You'll also need other documents:

  • YEL certificate:
    • You get this certificate from your own pension company (e.g. Elo) through their online service.
  • Cover letter (Missing balance sheet):
    • Authorities often ask companies for a "balance sheet."
    • As a toiminimi entrepreneur, however, you don't have a balance sheet, because you use single-entry bookkeeping.
    • Solution: Download the ready-made cover letter explaining the missing balance sheet, and attach it along with the other documents.

Download the cover letter here.

Note that each request is always individual, so pay close attention to the documents requested, as well as the time period the documents are requested for.
