How do I grant company mandates?

The company mandate acts as your electronic consent to us so that we can handle your company's tax matters. We take care of filing and paying your VAT returns on your behalf, and we prepare your business tax return. If the company mandates are missing, filing the return or making the payment is not possible.

Note that this mandate is different from the personal mandates you granted us at the beginning of your toiminimi service subscription. Personal mandates are needed to open a Y-tunnus or retrieve information, while company mandates are needed to handle tax-related filings.

Here's how you grant company mandates

1. Go to the Suomi.fi service

2. Select Identify yourself

3. Select Act on behalf of a company or organization

4. Click the selection next to your company's name and click Select and go to the e-service

5. Click Go to confirm (1)

6. Click Confirm mandate

The mandate has now been granted. We'll automatically receive the mandate information within 24 hours.

How do I know if I've granted the company mandates?

Open your app and go to Tax payment information in the menu. If the view is empty, the company mandates are missing.

If you granted the mandates only a moment ago and the view is empty, come back to the view again tomorrow. The mandate is updated on our end within 24 hours of being granted.
