Own Account gives you real-time visibility into all your bank transactions. It includes a receipt scanner, automatic reconciliation and a cash flow view.

  4. 04

    You're already using Client Funds

Questions about the differences between the services

What's the difference between Own Account and Client Funds?

With Client Funds, your customers pay into Truster's account and we handle taxes on your behalf. With Own Account, the money goes straight into your own bank account and Truster automates bookkeeping through bank synchronization.

Which one is cheaper?

It depends on your invoicing volume. Client Funds is more affordable at lower volumes (3.99% per invoice). Own Account has a flat price of €59.90/month and includes a receipt scanner, so at higher volumes it works out cheaper.

Can I switch from Client Funds to Own Account?

Yes, at any time from the app. All your data is preserved and the switch takes just minutes.

Which one gives me my own IBAN?

Only with Own Account. With Client Funds, your customers pay into Truster's account. With Own Account, your own business bank account appears on every invoice.

Do I need a Business ID (Y-tunnus) for Own Account?

Yes. Own Account is designed for registered sole proprietors (toiminimi) who have their own Business ID (Y-tunnus) and business bank account.

Two service models, one goal

Truster's two service models serve different situations. Client Funds is designed for entrepreneurs who want to get started quickly without a business bank account of their own. It's especially well suited to light entrepreneurs and side-hustlers who value simplicity.

Own Account is intended for full-time sole proprietors who want full control over their cash flow. Connecting your own bank account brings a receipt scanner, automatic reconciliation and real-time visibility into your cash flow. Both services include bookkeeping, invoicing and tax reporting.

Client Funds

An easy way to start your business

With Client Funds, your customers pay into Truster's account. We handle taxes and VAT automatically and pay the net amount into your account. You don't need a business bank account or a Business ID (Y-tunnus). Own Account brings more flexibility: your own bank account, a receipt scanner, a real-time cash flow view and automatic reconciliation. Either way, we take care of bookkeeping and taxes for you.
