Payslips in the app
Updated
A payslip is a document about paid wages that an employer or invoicing service provides to the employee when the wages are paid. It's an official record that clearly itemizes the basis for the pay as well as all statutory deductions.
A payslip lets you confirm that your pay has been paid correctly and see exactly what has been withheld from it. It also serves as an important record, for example, when applying for a loan or applying for benefits from Kela.
What information can you find on a payslip?
- Gross pay: Pay before taxes and other deductions.
- Withholding tax: The portion determined by your tax card, which is remitted to the tax authorities.
- Statutory payments: Health insurance contribution, and any YEL insurance.
- Net pay: The amount paid into your account after all deductions.
- Expense reimbursements: Any tax-free per diems and mileage allowances.
Where can I find my own payslip?
As a light entrepreneur using our service, you receive a payslip for every payment made, each time your pay is paid out. You'll conveniently find your payslip directly in the Truster app menu, under "Payroll."
