Do I need YEL insurance?

YEL insurance is the entrepreneur's statutory pension insurance, which accrues your pension and improves your social security.

YEL is mandatory when all conditions are met:
- you are 18-67 years old
- your entrepreneurial activity continues for at least 4 months
- your YEL work income exceeds the lower limit (changes yearly)
- you live in Finland

If the conditions are met, you must take out YEL insurance. You can get it easily through Truster.
