How do I grant personal Suomi.fi authorizations as a sole trader (toiminimi) entrepreneur?

After ordering the toiminimi service, you will receive an authorization request in the Suomi.fi service. By confirming it, you grant Truster personal authorization. The authorization is your electronic consent allowing us to either set up a Y-tunnus for you or retrieve the details of your existing Y-tunnus. Without the authorization, the order cannot proceed. You need Finnish online banking credentials or a mobile certificate to grant the authorization.

How to grant personal authorization

1. Go to the Suomi.fi service.
2. Click Identify.
3. Select Act as yourself.
4. Click Go to Suomi.fi authorizations.
5. Click Go to confirm (1).
6. Click Confirm authorization.

The authorization has now been granted. The information updates in our system within about a day, and you will receive a status update in the Tasks section on the app's home page. So you don't need to separately notify us that you have granted the authorization.

Personal authorization is the first of two authorizations. Toward the end of the order, we will also ask you for company authorization, which we use to file VAT and tax returns and pay taxes on your behalf. You can find more information here.
